FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is it important to have a trading mentor?
It is imperative that one gets training before trading.
If you wanted to become a better golfer… you would go for golf lessons.
If you wanted to lose weight or get fitter… you would get a personal trainer.
If you wanted to learn guitar, you would get guitar lessons.
Pretty simple, right?
Like anything… One needs to be taught how to trade PROPERLY.
There is no substitute for experience. Come and see how Colin applies technical analysis based on his 30+ years of experience using it.
What will I learn?
Financial Markets Trading Mastery comprises of 17 Chapters and is 27 video lessons long, and includes DOW Theory, Asset Classes, Market Averages, Trends, the best type of Charts to trade, Trading with Support and Resistance, Trendlines drawn correctly, Price Channels, Reversal Days, Price Gaps, Moving Average Methods and Signals, Bollinger Band signals, and the most reliable use of Oscillators and Chart Patterns.
You will also learn:
- The very best time to buy stocks/forex - based on just one indicator. (This is based on Colin's 30 years of technical analysis experience).
- A trading (or investing) system that works well on all markets, and on all time frames.
- The single most reliable chart pattern in the whole book.
- The most explosive chart pattern in the whole book. Profit every time from it.
- How to know when a trend has changed.
- The most reliable way to use oscillators. Make money off this particular signal almost every time.
- The best way to use moving averages (most people get this wrong). And how not to use them (this will surprise you)
and more....
The first 25 registrants also offer a 1 on 1 lesson where Colin will review your trades in a virtual classroom.
I've never traded before, will this be too advanced for me?
The Financial Markets Trading Mastery has been designed in such a way that traders of all levels will receive tremendous value.
About 70% of course registrants are beginners. Over the many years I've been giving training, most have never traded before and have actually benefitted by being beginners. Reason being, many traders have to unlearn the bad habits they are making before they start seeing consistent success. Beginners start their trading journey on a clean slate.
The exact same course has been provided to professional, institutional traders at the big banks and it was found that they were missing some of the basic principles of technical analysis. Intermediate or advanced traders greatly benefit from this training just as much as beginners.
What kind of results can I expect?ย Can I quit my job and trade full time?
Please do not quit your day job, especially if you are a beginner. Start off with a target of making $50 per day, building that up to $200 per day.
With the right trading strategy and systems, with enough practise and dedication, I believe this is an achievable target. Then your aim should increase to $500 per day eventually, and who knows, maybe then a $1000 or more.
There are many examples of those that make more than that, but these are exceptions to the rule but keep in mind and it has taken them a lot of time to get there. (This is not a get rich quick endeavour, otherwise everyone would be doing it).
Only once you are CONSISTENTLY making that type of income, should you consider trading full time.
I'm a relatively experienced trader, and I use technical analysis. Will I see value?
Colin was once called in by one of the major banks to do a training for their professional traders. These guys had been trading full-time for 8 years, and were trading millions of dollars on the banks behalf.
It was a two-day training. The plan was to spend the first few hours of day one with what was believed to be more 'basic' technical principles, because it was expected for them to be at a certain, higher level.
Colin ended up spending the whole of the first day on the more 'basic' training, which they had been taught wrong. It just goes to show, there is always something to learn, even if you have used technical analysis in the past (probably incorrectly, like these traders).
How interactive is the course? Do I get to work with Colin directly?
Yes, this has been designed to be the ultimate trading mentorship program.
The first 25 registrants also get a 1 on 1 training session with Colin in a virtual classroom. This has proved to be invaluable as he'll go through your trades together.
You'll also be able to email Colin any time you have a trading related question or comment, or his opinion on your trade or analysis.
What is the cost of the course?
The course investment is $297 and there are payment plan options to pay off the course over:
- 3 months: $107 per month,
- 6 months $55 per month or
- 12 months $29 per month
Note that for payment plan options, one gets access to the course in proportion to the payment plan you are on. ie on the 3 month plan, you will get access to 1/3 of the course, monthly.
How much time per day is this going to take?
It completely depends on you! Successful graduates of Financial Markets Trading Mastery are spending anywhere from 20 minutes a day to up to 2 hours.
The side of the spectrum you fall depends on how quick of a learner you are, if you have any trading background at all, and how motivated you are.
For actual trading, there is a misconception that this must be full time endeavour. This isn't true. Some traders (especially on the more medium to longer term time-frames) can spend only a few minutes per week trading, and still be successful.
I'm not sure if I can afford the Financial Markets Trading course.
We were once approached by a student with the same concern. They decided not to take the training at that point. A year and many blown trading accounts later, they decided to take the training. Within a few months, not only had they made back all the money they lost, but they had also made back their investment into the course. We don't recommend trading with real money until you have received the right type of training, and who better to mentor you than someone who has been doing this full time and professionally for 30 years.
I'm already seeing some success with trading. Will I be a good fit for the course?
Most traders experience inconsistency when trading. They will experience very good days, and some forgettable ones until they sometimes blow their accounts. We believe with enough time, dedication, practise and discipline, anyone can become a good trader. Our aim is to fast-track that process for you, so that you can start to experience consistency and profitability far earlier on in your trading journey.
If you are expecting overnight results with very little effort/work involved this is not for you. I wish we could offer some magic pill, but unfortunately you do have to put in a little effort. We have made the trading learning process as simple as it possibly can be, but you still need to have the drive to trust me and actually complete all the lessons.
What if I buy and want a refund? What's the policy?
If we can't add value to your trading then we don't deserve your money. That has always been the case.
We can proudly say that Colin been teaching this course for around 20 years and no one has ever requested a refund!
The refund policy applies from 28 days of registration, so just let us know if the course isn't for you, and we'll refund you every penny.
Please see full terms and conditions here.
How do I enrol?
Registration is still open for Financial Markets Trading Mastery, but only for a few more days or until the amount of available slots is taken up.
